As a foster-based rescue our ability to rescue and rehome dogs is limited by the number of active fosters we have. We are ALWAYS in need of more fosters.

Fostering is often the first home a rescued dog has known, and fosters get to see the incredible transformation the dog makes as it acclimatizes to its new environment.

We provide the food and supplies, fosters provide a safe environment and the love and daily care while the dog waits for its forever family.

As we’re volunteer-run we rely on volunteer assistance. There are many ways to get involved, including:

• Transporting dogs from the point of intake to their foster family.
• Driving a dog to a vet or other appointment.
• Assisting at fundraising events or hosting a fundraiser.
• Sharing our adoption posts or calls for volunteers to your networks.
• Administrative support 

Did you know that most airlines will allow dogs to accompany passengers on a flight? If you’re flying somewhere on vacation and would like to have a dog or two added to your ticket, please get in touch.

It’s an incredibly rewarding experience to be a flight buddy, and there’s no cost to you. Rescuers meet you at the departure airport, assist with check-in, and we assist you on arrival. It’s easy and literally gives the dogs a second chance at an amazing life. 

Rescue is a cost-intensive venture. Expenses incurred included preparation for travel, the flight and associated costs, vet and/or specialist visits, food, supplies for fostering, and other needs. Dogs often need more financial assistance than the adoption fee will cover.

We also seek to help injured or dogs with special needs that might need, for example, expensive surgery, rehabilitation therapy or specialized training. We rely on donations to make it possible for us to assist.
